well the average human being consumes 2,300 calories a day and that also depends if you need to lose weight if your losing weight you need to burn more calories then you body consumes some exsersises would be, swimming,running,jogging. did you know that your buring calories when you sleep? its so easy to lose calories but its also easier to gain calories.

theirs also bad calories and good calories. bad calories are like ice cream,cookies,but good calories are like celory,apples,carrets.like i said you need to burn more calories than your body takes in. so your answer is- theirs no amount-don't understand?well you consitantly need to burn calories to stay in shape so its never going to be a sertain number! theirs your answer. p.s. im 13 years old and weigh 195 i am obese that's how i know all this stuff i look into it.
