I drink a modified version of black and tan (which has been named at a restaurant "joe and tan" after me) Instead of the traditional Bass Pale Ale, I use Sam Adams Boston Lager.

A pint is 16oz. A black and tan is just about half and half, usually a little more of the lighter beer though. Going with the fact that it is 50% Sam 50% Guinness, it would be about 240-260 calories depending on pour.

A 1 oz serving of Sam Adams is 14.16 calories and a 1 oz serving of Guinness is 17.5 calories (Their websites list calories by 12 oz servings, I just divided it for math purposes)

A 1oz serving of Bass is 13.333 calories. Again, with the 8oz Guinness and 8 oz Bass, it turns out to be 246.666 calories (so 240-260 calories depending on pour)

Don't ever skip on drinking one, just exercise more! Try it with the Sam also, it is much better!
