I weigh 193 and I'm 23 years old, I work out and I eat healthy. My body needs roughly 3,000 calories a day, which is significantly higher than the 2,000 criteria that you see on food labels in Canada, at least. Handy, since it's 50% higher and it's easy to do the math. If you don't work out, I'd recommend 2,500 or so, since under-eating can lead to health-related issues. Remember, caloric intake always depends on your physical activity.

Be sure to eat from the healthy food groups, and increase your veggies... that's about the best advice I can give you. Good luck too man.
