In one cup of cubed pear-pieces, there are 20g of net carbs-(sugar grams and carbs added together), 5 grams of fiber, and 70 calories.

Pears are moderately-high in sugar for their size, and only really have fiber on their side.....Cantaloupe, for example, in a single cup, has like the 2nd highest amount of Vitamin A of ANY fruit OR vegetable, 2g of fiber, 14g of net carbs, and is only 52 calories.

A Casaba melon is the winner, though: a one cup serving only has 11g carbs, but it's very high in vitamin c, potassium, and vitamin B-6, (which is beneficial in prventing Heart disease).
