Four. Other ruminants (choose any two) include bison, cape buffalo, deer, sheep, yak, and antelope, among many others.
Animals with multiple stomachs are known as ruminants. Examples of these are cattle, sheep and goats. They do not actually have multiple stomachs, but stomachs which have a number of 'compartments'. The examples given above are characterised by having four distinct sections to their stomachs, although camelids (camels, llamas, alpacas, vicunas) have a slightly different arangement and are sometimes described as having three stomachs.
following are the non ruminants..........HUMANS,PIG,MOUSE,HORSE etc
There does not appear to be a scientific name to describe the fear of stomachs.
Ramulous Circumtancis (Scientific Name)
swallowed and partially digested
The stomach lining of ruminants is called the mucosa, which is responsible for producing enzymes and absorbing nutrients from the food that has been partially digested in the rumen.
A fore-gut fermentor is the same name for a ruminant. Ruminants have a compartment where the feed they eat is fermented that is located prior to their true stomach, being the abomasum. Because the Abomasum is the true stomach and the other three chambers are more or less an extension of the esophagus, this is why ruminants are called fore-gut fermentors. Ruminants include such animals as cattle, sheep, goats, deer, bison, buffalo, yak, elk, moose, etc.
The name of the gray one on the right is Carl. The one with the red flowered hat on the left is Paul.
Gastric juice is mixed with food in the stomach to promote digestion.
Starfish, not truly a fish despite its name, does not, in fact, have two stomachs. From astounding new discoveries, we have found that this is not true; they have three. If you take a look at the Internet, it says that starfish have two stomachs. I am part of a team of science researchers trying to help make the Internet as fact-based as possible, when needed. Thank you for your time; on behalf of the team, I hope this helped.-ScienceUnited Team
