Work affects diet it is basically depends upon the nature of work you do. If its hard work where you have no control over time of eating during lunch and even dinners then certainly this effects dieting due to irregular time of diet. Also if you do heavy work you definately need heavy diet and also eat too much as per your work you need to be upto date with your stamina to perform at work. If you dont work you just stay home or sit on chair doing for office related work you also need some energy to keep upto date with you research and working nature and you may feel hungry during lunch time. But if there is meetings or seminar and related events when you can not take your lunch or dinner in time means this will affect your health and diet pattern as well.

Therefore in my opinion, it certainly affects the diets when you have no control over working pattern and regular eatings of breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
