If you're a super muscular body building male, then probably not. If you're a seventh grade girl, then sorry- yes. Even if you were athletically built with dense bones you shouldn't be over 140, MAYBE 145. 125-135 would be best for a 5 foot 8 preteen frame. Don't let it get you down, just cut out the junk food and substitute lots of lean, healthy food. Better yet, keep a journal of your calorie intake and be sure not to go over 1350. To put that in perspective, a Big Make is about 560, a half a cup of chocolate ice cream is 340, and a plate of creamy alfredo pasta can be as much as 1200 by itself. That's the crap that probably got you to 197- try 260 calorie grilled chicken ranch wraps, 200 calorie bowls of lean granola cereal, and 300 calorie 6 inch Subway Sandwiches.
