Losing over 2 pounds a week is simply unhealthy for your body. In the long-term, it won't pay off to lose that much that quickly because you will probably gain the weight back.
That being said, these are a few tips to losing weight:
-Write down ALL the food you eat every day and count how many calories. Use this website to find out how many calories you should eat in a day, how many you are burning, and how many calories there are in your food:

-Measure ALL your portions. So for example, if you're having a bowl of cereal, use a measuring cup to measure how much cereal and milk you're eating. This will make your calorie counting accurate.
-Don't eat after 7pm or 8pm. This is the most useful trick to me. After about a week, I stopped being hungry after 7 and avoided having any late-night cravings. I've been doing this since August and I've lost tons of weight.
-Eat a big, healthy breakfast.
-Drink lots of water to reduce hunger (about 8 cups of water).
-Drink green tea (about 2-5 cups). It speeds up your metabolism.
-Avoid situations where you might start eating mindlessly. If you ever have a craving, distract yourself with another activity, such as going for a walk, doing work, reading. You will find that the cravings simply disappear.
-Weigh yourself everyday. This will keep you motivated!
