A weight of 180 pounds at 5'10" can be considered on the lighter side for a freshman linebacker, as they typically benefit from a combination of size, strength, and agility. While athleticism and skill are crucial, many linebackers at the high school level often weigh between 200 to 230 pounds. However, if the player has good speed, tackling ability, and can effectively read plays, they can still be successful at this weight, especially if they focus on strength training and conditioning.
You should put on around 20 pounds. Ideally you want to be 170-185 and 5'8-5'11. But it also depends on the type of offense the high school your going to plays. Im a 5'9 170 freshman and play Middle Linebacker and i can typically destroy a smaller fullback and get straight to the half back and I'm not the best linebacker on my team so a little weight will definately help you. You might wanna work on your speed and become a halfback instead.
Height and weight doesn't determine a football player. It's their skill. Tiki Barber, a great running back, was under 5'11. If your 6 ft 10 and 410 pounds you have a really good chance as a linebacker or as someone on either the defensive or offensive line, but you have to have the skill.
Size 8.4-8.14 is good enough.
Your size and speed could make you a good fit for playing outside linebacker. However, playing the position also requires agility, tackling skills, and the ability to read offenses. With proper training and understanding of the position's demands, you could definitely excel as an outside linebacker.
126 pounds, a good weight for a teenager.
Yes its pretty good but a good weight would be between 105-110 pounds so mostly yes 5`1 and 105 pounds is good weight.
