A pescetarian diet is a diet which includes fish but no other animals. Although pescetarians eat fish sometimes, they are mostly vegetarian and have fish only once or twice a week to get the intake of DHA and EPA omega 3 which is hard to find on a vegetarian diet. Nuts, grains, seeds, beans and legumes are the main sources of protein and of course fish.

Some Pescetarians eat eggs and/or dairy and some do not. Pescetarians should also avoid by products of slaughter of land animals such as Gelatin, gelatin, asparatame and animal fats from pork etc.
