Yes, it's very good for you because it includes a lot of vegetables and/or fruits. But juicing fruits or vegetables is far better for you and should be chosen over V8.
its not really all about how much you drink, you gotta eat right too. lots of fruits and veggies (bright fruits, green veggies) don't over drink you can OD on fluids but drink the required amount per day.

Think fruits and vegetables. Give the tofu and soy stuff the night off. Chop, slice and dice a handful of your favorite fruits and make a fruit salad. Same with veggies. A litttle bit of one in the other is often good. And some dried fruits that have been chopped are cool. If you chop either fruits or veggies coursely, you've got finger food. Don't forget nuts of at least a couple of varieties. These can be eaten out of a bowl or sprinkled over salads. All that is missing is something to splash over the salads or dip the chunks of fruit or veggies in. Seasoned oil works really well for veggies, and you'd be surprised what a little sprinkle of cinnamon, salt, sugar (brown sugar, too), or (my fav) nutmeg will do to fruit. Chocolate is scandalous, but include it anyway. Betcha no one will complain. Bon appétit!
