You need to be more specific..
Where is the dress from? Is it a US size 26 or an Australian 26 etc
Im Australian, so with the research that I just did on the internet a
dress size 26 is on average a waist size of about 45" (inches)
Which is considered to be a plus size, if you're not talking plus sizes please let us know.
The inch size for a dress size 26 varied from site to site but on average it was between a 44" to a 47"
I guess it depends on the dress itself. Hope I was of some help =)
A size 36 waist would normally be a 14-16 dress size.
a size 2 :) because that's what my waist is and im a size 2.
In the UK a women with a 26inch waist is a size 8 !.. 25 1/2 inch waist is a 6..
Size 20 if your hips are wider

In the UK a size 10 dress or skirt has a 28 inch waist and sizes go up in increments of 2". Size 12 would therefore have a 30" waist, size 14, a 32" inch waist, size 16, a 34" waist, size 18, a 36" waist and so on. For a waist 33" you would either have to settle for a size 14, with a 32 inch waist, or go one larger and get a size 16, which would have a 34" waist.
a 23-inch waist is size 0 in the uk and in the us its a 4 though this will differ on different brands of clothes slightly
Probably a US size 6 (which is UK size 8 I think...)
big
8 :)
Dresses are more than just a waist measurement. They also have to do with back and chest. I have a 33.5 inch waist and wear size 12/14. However, I have really big breasts, so sometimes I have to go higher.
