The best diabetic diets are those that do not contain a lot of complex sugars, such as starches, which is in foods such as potatoes. A diabetic wants to avoid a lot of foods that breakdown into sugars which can cause glucose levels in the body to skyrocket. A diabetic needs to eat a diet that is rich in vegetables and lean meats!
