I don't think that there has been any research to prove or even hint at what the above poster states. Although it is true that cartilage contains type II collagen and it is needed to repair your own bodies cartilage, it is a HUGE leap to assume that the digested cartilage will then be broken down into type II collagen and the transported to your joints for rebuilding.

With that said- I have not been able to find specific information regarding the nutritional value of chicken cartilage.
