It really depends of what you are trying to achieve with your dog, ie a glossy coat or heathy joints. Admittedly the majority of supplements for dogs are focused around healthy joints so I will assume this is the type of supplements you are looking for.
If this is the case you should look for a supplement containing glucosamine and chondroitin, preferably one that is being used and recommend by vet's. Have a look at www.dog-pain-relief.org. The guy who made it has videos from vets about supplements and recommends a supplement for dogs joints.
You should eat two vitamins.
You should follow the directions of your vet, and not take it upon yourself to improvise. Some things that are good for humans are not good for dogs.
If she is pregnant. You should discuss which vitamins with your doctor.
To prepare for child birth a woman should most importantly eat healthy all around. Vitamins are really only supposed to be used as supplements. Try eating healthy too.

Find out if dogs can take vitamins there are vitamins that help the liver. I am not sure if they can cure any body or a dog, however they help the liver function.
most vitamins should be taken with a meal and a solvent...it does not mater if the solvent is water, juice or milk
