Dragon fossils are rare but not unknown. Unfortunately most of them are incomplete - as is the case with most fossils.
The bodies of dead dragons are usually of the smaller types and careful preservation has not be the general outcome of such discoveries. Once a dead sea serpent was wash ashore during a storm but was washed right back out again after only a few minutes of perusal.
You can usually find it in a cemetery or not very likely but out in the open by a cementary or something, I don't really know!

You can name a dragon on dragon cave before or after you find out what gender it is; it doesn't really matter when.
Soldiers shot the body, and if they didn't die, they were dead.

A dead body
Uncle Jake, Sabrina, and Daphne go to rescue her, but when they are escaping, they encounter a dragon. Briar thinks that Jake is dead, and stands up to the dragon that supposedly killed him. The dragon slams her into a tree, causing her to die. When it turns out that Jake isn't dead, he wakes up to find Briar dead, and nearly kills himself 2 times. Very sad.
