If dragons do exist how would they be classified?

Dragons would have been classified as reptiles. However, they are quite different from the known flying reptiles (pterosaurs), notably because they have supernatural or magical connections, such as being able to breathe fire, or to talk, or to connect spiritually with humans.

In an historical perspective filmed in documentary form, a dragon was ostensibly unearthed from an icy cave in Romania. The remains were taken to London, England. Alongside the preserved dragon carcass were human corpses dressed in 14th century armor. Scientists have found out how they breathe fire; they dissected the body and found sacks containing hydrogen, as well as rocks stuck in its teeth containing high amounts of platinum. Hydrogen and platinum react violently and produce flames. However, most of the conclusions of the researchers are partly pseudoscience.
