It is very hard to know for sure how good Tyrannosaurus Rex vision was. We can only make assumptions based on the evidence to hand. There is little evidence to suggest that it could only sense movement as suggested in the popular movie "Jurassic Park". The evidence suggest that T-Rex very good vision. It had large eyes. It also had very good binocular overlap (area that both eyes can see simultaneously) giving it good depth perception. It also had a large percentage of it's brain for vision in comparison to other dinosaurs.
