The Dalek home-world Skaro was once home to two humanoid races, the peaceful and scientifically advanced Kaleds/Dals (who were described as philosophers and teachers) and the warlike Thals. Following a nuclear war between the two races the Dals were mutated and became the insane and xenophobic Daleks. They use the mecanical structure we see to house their mutant bodies. They are not robots but huminod. In the Darlek Factory (game pack) you will see 2 micro-figures; 1x Dalek Scientist and 1x Dalek Drone.
Especially in the newer episodes of Doctor Who, the daleks come in different colors.
They are from Skaro.
nobody actually knows but if you would rather me tell you yes or no the answer is yes. so basically davros was a cycolps but first he was human and wanted to lead the daleks to victory by killing the doctor. but davros fought many battles with other galaxies and lost both eyes and got something like a weird type of brain damage. therefore, the daleks gave davros a dalek eye so that davros could see what they saw. also davros was given a fake metal hand because he lost his other hand, and then the daleks gave him a wheelchair made out of the oldest dalek. so, davros basically is a cyclops....davros died when the 10th doctor (david tennant) defeated the daleks and their lair caught fire, the doctor wanted davros to come with him but he refused so consequently he died.
Generally speaking, yes. They have been specifically genetically engineered by their creator, Davros, to have no emotions whatsoever except hatred and a desire to annihilate all other life-forms in the Universe except themselves. They are mostly incapable of any other feelings. Davros is a brilliant but very wicked scientist of the Kaled race ('Dalek' is 'Kaled' spelled backwards!!) However, there have been times when individual Daleks have managed to rise above this. Two examples are episode six of the 2005 series, simply entitles 'Dalek', when Rose Tyler develops a sort of empathy with a Dalek and enables it to feel positive emotions, and also the two-part episode 'Daleks in Manhattan' broadcast in late April 2007, when Dalek Sec, one of the four leaders of the Cult of Skaro, has higher ideals to create a superior Dalek race that has all the genuis and power of the Daleks but is also capable of empathy and doing good. In both cases, these Daleks either automatically self-destructed or were assassinated by their rebellious colleagues. The idea of the Daleks was come up with by Terry Nation, one of the founders of the Dr.Who series back in 1963, but he has given explicit instructions that the Daleks are never to be portrayed as anything other than evil. Nation is still alive, but when eventually he dies, this edict may change.

Hitler and the Nazis first came into power in 1933, and the Daleks first serial in Doctor Who "The Daleks" aired in late 1963 to early 1964, 30 years later.
The first three have already come out about Daleks, the second about Cybermen and the third about the Tardis. For more information about the next Games keep checking the Doctor Who BBC site (that is where you can download the for free)
A single Dalek warrior is an incredible threat. On its own a Dalek is a violent but relatively unthreatening individual. The Dalek is a devolved humanoid species that vaguely resembles a mutant octopus. The Dalek fighting machine/Dalek combination is one of the most terrifying and destructive things in the whole universe. The Dalek race evolved constantly until they became a threat not just to the lower species but to the higher races such as the Time Lords. Eventually the Daleks and Time Lords all but wiped each other out in a Time War.Daleks are geniuses able to compute massive amounts of information very rapidly. They have a sucker attachment able to manipulate things at least as small as a computer keypad, a gun attachment able to exterminate all life forms and an emergency temporal shift allowing them to travel in time. This latter ability would have been more pronounced during the Time War and, in fact, they have developed the ability to power themselves from temporal energy.Daleks can fly, self repair and have an extremely effective energy shield surrounding them. They are, in short, almost the perfect killing machines. It was estimated by the foremost expert on Daleks that a single Dalek would have been able to wipe out a significant proportion of the population of the mid 21st Century US single handedly. It is unclear if the Dalek's energy field would be able to repel a direct hit from a nuclear weapon but if it could or was able to evade such an attack there is no reason to believe that a single Dalek would not be capable of completely exterminating the entire human race.Darth Vader is a Dark Lord of the Sith. Vader has telekinetic and telepathic abilities as well as extremely heightened agility, spacial awareness and precognitive abilities. Vader can kill using his telekinetic abilities over a distance of several miles (as has been seen by his execution of incompetent officiers on other vessels). Vader has an innate understanding of technology and can exert control over it. Vader also has much higher than average speed, strength, reactions and leap range. Vader also has the ability to fly or drive any vehicle far beyond the expected capabilities of the vehicle in question.Vader is armed also with his lightsaber. The lightsaber is an energy based weapon that can cut through anything other than another lightsaber. There is some evidence to suggest that lightsabers can cut through energy fields. In virtually every possible encounter the Dalek would win. Only The Doctor has proven to be an effective adversary to them.Darth Vader would, despite all of the Dalek's abilities, win easily.Vader's abilities would allow him to deflect the energy of a Dalek's attack using either his lightsaber or his inate abilities. He would be able to evade any other attack through precognition, agility and speed. He could cut through the armour of a Dalek easily with his lightsaber. His telekinetic abilities would allow him to move objects towards the Dalek or to move the Dalek itself. Vader could use his telekinetic abilities to take the Dalek's armour apart at a distance or he could take it over and force it to self destruct. He could also use the Force to simply kill the Dalek at a distance. The only ability that Vader possesses that wouldn't help him to win would be his ability to influence the minds of others. The Dalek's singular will and phenomenal intelligence would be to great for him to exert any power over it. This would not be relevant in the grand scheme of things as he could kill the Dalek in so many other ways.
They hop into the TARDIS go into the future stop a couple daleks and then come back and tell you what they saw.
Doctor Who comes from Gallifrey. His planet was destroyed by the daleks during the time war but he stole the tardis and escaped. However, in recent episodes we have discovered that Doctor Who found a way to save his home planet.
