What was the triceratops's climate?

Triceratops, is usually the face of Late Cretaceous dinosaurs. However, it lived only from 68 to 66.043 million years ago, only about the last 2% of entire Cretaceous period. Triceratops has only ever been found in the Hell Creek Formation of South Dakota, Montana, and North Dakota; the Lance Formation in Wyoming; The Denver, Arapahoe, and Laramie Formations of Colorado; and Scollard Formation of Alberta. All of these formations were deposited in warm tropical coastal forests, which bordered the Western Interior Seaway, with palms, sequoias, and magnolia trees making up the vegetation.
