65 million years ago, most of the dinosaurs were killed by a large asteroid, which landed in the Yucatan Peninsula in east Mexico where a very, very wide and deep crater is there today.
The comet killed the dinosaurs by shooting up a cloud of ash which blocked out the sun over most of the Earth and started an ice age which killed them because they couldn't survive the freezing temperatures.
However, some animals survived by exploding into more hairy or insulated-skinned animals such as the mammoth (now extinct) well that was pointless wasn't it!
The crocodiles and alligators are examples of dinosaurs which have survived the ice age the question was when did the dinosaurs get wiped out and I am sorry that I kept going on and on I realize I made a mistake and I am sorry.
A meteor shower.
It was something you did.
Life did not start after the dinosaurs were wiped out. Life on Earth started billions of years before that. The asteroid wiped out a large portion of life on earth, but not all of it. Some things survived.
No somebody had a massive dump and it killed them all
I believe it does. Scientists think that an asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs.
Probably not. Current evidence suggests that the dinosaurs were wiped out by an asteroid impact, possibly in combination with an outburst of volcanic activity.
A meteor.
there isn't any because a big meteor came and wiped them out
Technically there are dinosaurs still around. Most paleontologists now classify birds as dinosaurs. Other than that, the dinosaurs are believed to have been wiped out by an asteroid or comet impact 65.5 million years ago.
some say an asteroid hit the earth and wiped out the dinosaurs. others say the climate got colder and the dinos couldn't adapt.
apparently yes. but they were wiped out by a massive meteorite millions of years ago,
We are not particularly sure but we think that a meteor wiped out the dinosaur race.
