In Texas, a juvenile who pulls a fire alarm without cause may face serious consequences, including criminal charges such as criminal mischief or a false alarm. This act can lead to fines, community service, or even juvenile detention depending on the severity of the incident and any prior offenses. Additionally, the juvenile may be held liable for any costs associated with the emergency response. Schools and local authorities often take such actions very seriously to ensure safety and prevent misuse of emergency systems.

Insert a screwdriver and prise flap off and there is a keyhole underneath. Note that this will not deactivate the alarm. The alarm stops when you insert your key into the slot.
