Well Yasi hit where I live and it was bigger but not stronger. :) :)
Cyclone Yasi hit several cities and towns. The worst affected towns were Cardwell, Innisfail and Tully.

cyclone yasi travled about 500m a hour to start of with but then it got slower, the cyclone was sopost to hit at 9pm but it slowed down so it hit at about mid night
Yes, Cyclone Yasi- - Cyclone Yasi did not hit Cairns directly, in fact it did not hit anywhere near Cairns, Cairns got off virtually unscathed. Despite Cairns residents jumping on the bandwagon - Cyclone Yasi made landfall at Mission Beach 150k south of Cairns .. see damage in that region - so Yes Cyclone Yasi - is not the correct answer - it is totally incorrect

Cyclone Yasi travelled through more than one country. I'm in the Solomon Islands and it hit parts of this country, and then went to Australia (the state of Queensland). Australia was the last country it hit. I'm not sure where it was before the Solomon Islands..... maybe Fiji.
