If your package weighs under 13 ounces, I would send it first class...cheaper than priority. Priority Mail is a marketing tool to make the post office more money. It all goes in the same mail stream...same truck. If for some reason the letter carriers have too many packages (holidays or day after holidays) and they have to cut them back for delivery the next day, priority mail goes first and is suppose to be delivered before parcel post. But nothing is guaranteed except Express mail.
