I am answering with almost the exact answer that I gave to another one going Coast to Coast:

Under normal circumstances 3 days. Being this is the Post Office's busy time right before Christmas, allow a couple extra days. Other factors that can slow mail down: incorrect ZIP code and difficult to read handwriting. The ZIP code that a person lives in can change, from time to time, especially if the area is changing in population, they will redraw the ZIP code maps. How long ago have you verified the ZIP code? Go to the USPS.com website and verify the ZIP code. Make sure you print legibly. The Post Office has scanners with Optical Character Recognition, but if it's hard to read, the letter goes into a reject, and a person has to look at it and manually key in the ZIP code. Or better yet, print out labels (with a plain font, not fancy script). Some word processing software can even add the barcode, based on the ZIP code in the address.
