Calais is a coastal port city whereas Normandy is a region of northwestern France. Assuming you might be thinking of the D-Day invasion of Normandy, I would use the town of Bayeux as a reference. The distance from Calais to Bayeux is approx. 373 Km or 232 miles and may take about 3 hours and 30 minutes to drive.

Bayeux is only a short distance from the D-Day invasion beaches of Omaha and Gold and the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial is located nearby, (a must see)

I can highly recommend a stay at a centuries old castle with ten foot thick walls and a real moat in Colombieres nearby and perhaps my favorite wonder of the world is a visit to Mont Saint-Michel, a tidal island city located a bit further west.
