Distance from Vancouver to Moscow is 8233 kilometers or 5116 miles
17DAYS
You would be flying east from Moscow to Vladivostok.
7 days:) there are some trains 6 days:)
The Trans-Siberian Railway starts (or finishes) in Moscow and travels almost 9,300 kilometres across largely inaccessible country to finish (or start) in Vladivostok on the Pacific coast. It is the longest train trip anywhere in the world and depending on which particular train you get, it can take up to 7 days (or more) to complete the journey.
You would be travelling generally in an easterly direction, but probably more like east south east.
The fastest I was able to find is 11 hours flight with stopover in Moscow.
Amur, Khabarovsk, and Vladivostok are the cities that mark the endpoints of the Trans-Siberian Railway. The rail system goes a total of 5,772 miles from the Russian Far East to the Sea of Japan..
3995.42Miles. Impressive, isn't it?
There are not many inter-city roads suitable for cars, and in many cases, no roads at all in large parts of Siberia. Driving from Moscow to Vladivostok is not a serious option unless you have unlimited time, resources and abilities. A plane flight from Moscow to Vladivostok is about 7 or 8 hours depending on the type of plane. The Trans-Siberian Railway takes about 7 days depending on the train.
