A tripometer is a device used in vehicles to measure the distance traveled during a specific trip or journey. It can be reset to zero, allowing drivers to track mileage for individual trips separately from the total odometer reading. Tripometers are commonly found in cars, motorcycles, and bicycles, providing valuable information for fuel efficiency and navigation.
To reset the tripometer in a Chevrolet Prism, locate the trip odometer button on the dashboard, usually near the speedometer. Press and hold this button until the trip odometer resets to zero. Release the button, and the tripometer should now be set back to zero. If your model has a different setup, consult the owner’s manual for specific instructions.

Tripometer is a great app for tracking your mileage. Milebug is another that is recommended.
tripometer doesn't work either.
orgasmic proteins you stupid, huge pile of redundant protoplasm
possibly a broken internal gear in the speedometer head
digital cluster may need replaced
Next to the odometer is a button. Press it to switch between odo and trip. While in trip, hold it to reset the tripometer.
When the mileage is displayed, hold down the 'enter' button, you should hear a beep, and it should reset. This is the procedure to reset anything on the display.
