What do you mean by range?

Height:

If you mean height it is 28" (a miniature horse) and then it goes up in hands I'll go as small as 8 and as high as about 17 hands, but of course it is very varied.

Price:

People desperate to sell horses will sell them for as cheap as £500, £600, £700, £800, £900 , and then it goes into more reasonable prices £1000, £2000, £3000, £4000, £5000, and then it starts to get expensive, £6000, £7000, £8000, £9000 and then £10,000 - £25,000 is a very very expensive price, and normally race horses are the most expensive.

Breeds:

There would be more than 300 horse breeds in the world.

Distance:

A horse can walk almost indefinitely, provided it was water and grazing. For their respective faster gaits the distance they can go is largely dependent on breed and training. For instance, a Quarter-horse usually has a faster gallop but a Thoroughbred can hold it much longer. Likewise, a Percheron can haul a wagon all day long but can not usually gallop for more than a few hundred yards.
