Although it is believed by most people to be nothing more than a myth, there are stories about a supernatural creature called a chupacabra. The creature is supposed be a spiky creature that sucks blood from pets and livestock. The stories started in 1995 in Puerto Rico, and have spread through Central and South America. It has become a common creature in Latin supernatural lore. There was an episode of the X-Files based on the chupacabra.

Chuckwallas eat the fruit of cactus and tender parts of plants. Mostly harmless, Chuckwallas live in rocky, dry, cactus growing areas, usually around Mexico and Arizona. Chuckwallas, if used as pets, eat lizard food. They are beautiful creatures!
