To date no extra terrestrial life has been found anywhere. It is very unlikely that any will be found in our solar system; certainly no intelligent life. It may be the case that one day it will be discovered outside our solar system but it is not possible to predict when, where, or what form it may take.

Recent studies have shown, however, of large bodies of liquid water and geysers on Enceladus, one of the 62 moons of Saturn. Extremists believe that Enceladus may contain micro-organisms, just as Mars once had before its water froze into polar ice caps. Skeptics say this is far-fetched; however, supporters claim that if Enceladus is able to have water and steam, it is possible that it receives a reasonable quantity of heat. The combination of water and the right amount of heat is the basis of the formation of life.
