I can assure you that it was not faked. I saw the Apollo 11 mission leave the Earth with my own eyes. I have seen the moon rocks at the Smithsonian Museum with my own eyes. I have even talked to the astronauts.
It is believed that just the Apollo 11 landing may have been faked. The remaining missions do not appear to have been faked.

Most regrettable are the people on YouTube who fake up pictures and footage to make them appear as evidence of an Apollo hoax. There are simply too many undereducated people who honestly don't know enough to see through the nonsense.
Some conspiracy theorists believe that the first moon landing was staged by the U.S. government as a hoax to win the Space Race against the Soviet Union. They claim that the footage and photos were filmed in a studio and that the astronauts never actually landed on the moon.
The main conspiracy theory surrounding the first moon landing in 1969 is that it was staged by the U.S. government to win the Space Race against the Soviet Union. Some believe that the footage was filmed on a soundstage and that the entire Apollo 11 mission was a hoax. However, there is overwhelming evidence to support the authenticity of the moon landing.
The Apollo moon hoax is a claim by misguided (or deliberately lying) individuals who claim to have evidence that NASA faked the 6 manned moon landing missions. The theory was first written about in 1974 by Bill Kaysing in his book We Never Went to the Moon: NASA's 30 Billion Dollar Swindle jumped in the fray from there. The facts, however, show that the moon landings were real. The evidence supporting the truth of the landings is voluminous. Anybody claiming the moon landings are fake have either been misled or are deliberately lying.
There is no evidence to suggest that the Apollo moon landings were faked. Multiple lines of evidence, such as photographs, rock samples, and independent observations, confirm that the missions did take place. Conspiracy theories suggesting the landings were faked have been debunked by experts in various fields.
The first landing was July 20, 1969. There was another landing that same year and 4 more landings over the years 1970-1972.
Yes, there were a total of six moon landings as part of the Apollo program. Apollo 11 was the first landing in 1969, and the last was Apollo 17 in 1972.
The first computer had no direct contact with the moon landings. The development of computers had a great effect on space missions and of course that development started with the first computer.
The Normandy Landings changed the course of the war. For the first time Allied troops and armour challenged and pushed back the Germans.
I assume you mean manned and not unmanned landings. Apollo 11 landed at 4:17pm EST on July 20, 1969.
There are several films that depict moon landings, including documentaries, dramas, and reenactments. Some notable ones include "First Man," "Apollo 13," and "The Right Stuff." The exact number may vary depending on how you define a "moon landing film."
The first moon landing occurred on July 20, 1969, during the Apollo 11 mission. The last moon landing was on December 14, 1972, as part of the Apollo 17 mission.
There have been a total of six crewed moon landings, all of which were part of the Apollo program conducted by NASA. The first successful moon landing was Apollo 11 in 1969, with subsequent missions occurring until Apollo 17 in 1972.
