Usually in India people have a superstitious belief of telling not to sleep by placing head in north and especially south, coz the lord of death, yama comes via the north side. This belief has been proven tat when sleeping through placing head at north or south disturbs brain since the magnetic radiation passes thro north to south and from south to north
