Bigfoot is generally considered a cryptozoological ape that lives in the backwoods of the United States. It can also refer to a Monster Truck.
If you're looking for the cryptozoological answer then it could be something called a Lizardman, which is allegedly found in Georgia.
The Dover Demon is an alleged cryptozoological creature sighted on three separate occasions during a 25-hour period in the town of Dover, Massachusetts on April 21 and April 22, 1977. It has remained a subject of interest for cryptozoologists ever since then.
Beaver Pig is the winner of the 2013 Breakthrough Novel competition through Amazon.com. Written by Adam Clark, it is a story about a cryptozoological beast that resulted from the Three Mile Island nuclear accident.
No. Unless you entertain cryptozoological sources. However the date of their extinction is not as straight forward as once thought. Up until recently most believed that Mammoths went extinct roughly 10,000 years ago but the discovery of remains only 4000 years old on Wrangel island changed that idea. Who knows what else we'll discover about them.
Dear , Thanks for your unusual question According to Google, the abaguchie is a mammal, which may have been imported from Costa Rica in the mid 1990s to kill rattlesnakes and coyotes in two counties in West Virginia. It is described as a 'psychotic wombat' in The Cryptozoological Guide to American Mammalia'. Another website says that it is a cat-like mammal from the children's books 'Boys Against Girls' and 'A Spy Among the Girls' by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor. As practically all the sites I visited referred to the fiction books and there seemed to be no really independent cryptozoological sites, I can only guess that the abaguchie has been made up by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor and probably does not exist in real life. I must admit, I had never heard of it until your question. One animal I did consider was the acouchi (Myoprocta). There are two species of these rodents, which look a bit like long-legged guinea-pigs and live in northern South America. They are related to agoutis, but, unlike agoutis, have visible tails. I hope that I have helped you with your question. All the best Mark
The Cougar or Puma (P. concolor) enjoys a wide variety of names, particularly in the US, but all of them refer to the same species of cat.The Eastern Puma or Eastern Cougar is a name-concept given to cougars that may live in the mountains and forests of the eastern parts of the United States and possibly Canada. The Eastern Puma, as such, is somewhat cryptozoological, as there is some debate as to whether any pumas actually survive in these parts of the world, as their normal, accepted range is the western US, the southwestern tip of Canada, and South America.
The Lake Erie name comes from the Native Americans who once populated the southern shore of the lake, known as the Eirehonan or Erie Indians. As I understand it, that name comes from an Indian word meaning people of the cat, and the Lake was know for a while as Lac du Chat or lake of the cat by the French explorers, due to the fact that the area surrounding it was well populated by large cats. Strange how now there are cryptozoological reports of large black cats seen along its waters from time to time.Talk about Erie (sorry about that).
