Oftentimes, people in the Burning Times would accuse people who they had had a disagreement with or people who were excluded from the community as witches. i think it started with the Boston witch trials when people thought people were practicing evil rituals and witchcraft so they burned them at the stake or killed them. but they rlly werent witches-i think lol[ ==
