They don't drink water, it gets moture from the food it eats.So do not give them water ,it will drown.

Baby birds are feed on the food that there mother ingests; and regerdjetates the food into thie chiks mouth. This food is liqiud, (vomit) so like the frist answer says. Baby birds get the miosture that the need from the food they eat. And depending on the age of the chick; older ones enjoy a small amount of water to play in. It must be shallow until it is adult, then you can fill a regular bird water cup tht comes with your cage. If this is wild bird, I sure your thaught is that you are going to get it well and let it fly away!! In my life wene I was younger( ok, maybe a few times now) I have atempted to care for a baby bird that had fallen out of the nest. Within the next 48 hours they all passed away. Unfortunetly someyimes the baby is sick and the mother knows it. To protect her other babies shes pushes the sick chick out of the nest. And then a sweet human comes along to save it only to get a broken heart later.
