Yes you do tune drums. There are little parts on the rims of the drums. You tighten/loosen them USING YOUR DRUM KEY. This tightens/loosens the drum head. Tap the drum head by the part that you just tightened (called lugs). Get that sound to sound the same for every lug. and so on for every drum, of course with a lower sound though.
