Anything that has calories in it gives you energy. The Calorie is a unit of food energy. A typical 32 oz bottle of Gatorade has about 200 Calories.
But it does have some chemicals in it that give you a little bit of power: "Gatorade is formulated to rehydrate and replenish fluid, carbohydrates and electrolytes."
Also check this out from wikipedia: "The original Gatorade contained water, sucrose (table sugar) and glucose-fructose syrups, citric acid, Fish oil, sodium chloride (table salt), sodium citrate, monopotassium phosphate,and flavoring/coloring ingredients."
sugar = energy!
Gatorade is not really a drink to give you energy its really to replenish back your fluids and it works better than water if your doing physical activity but don't drink it like a everyday thing or else u will have to be in the hospital for overdose of caffeine
Gatorade vs Water. Which has more effect on heart rate when exercise? Does Gatorade really give the drinker energy?
Gatorade gives you direct energy when you drink it but it will not last as long. Rice gives slow energy over the whole day.
It is not really the best sports drink to me but some people think it is because it gives you energy and it tastes good. The down side of Gatorade is that it is not healthy for you and it does not give you energy for a long time. It only gives you energy for about 2 and a half hours. well that's as long as a football game or basketball game lasts so its a good sports drink that's why many athletes use it ya Gatorade
Gatorade will give you lots of cavities if you don't brush your teeth twice a day
Monster Energy typically contains more caffeine and a higher total energy content compared to Gatorade. While Gatorade is designed primarily for hydration and replenishing electrolytes during physical activity, Monster Energy is formulated to provide a quick energy boost through caffeine and sugar. Therefore, in terms of energy-boosting effects, Monster Energy generally has more energy than Gatorade.
Gatorade...hey every body gets power from Gatorade
my dogs love gatorade! I give it to them when they are sick to keep them from dehydrating. I asked my vet & he said that was fine.
It has 14 gms of carbs lots & of energy, so that will probably last you 3-4 hrs. But to tell you the truth, I think that Gatorade is anything but water. The best thing you can have these days are some good old water! But that's just my opinion......
A bit more energy.
No, they do not expire, but they do get hard.
Gatorade replenishes your water and also has sodium to give you what sweat takes out of you, Gatorade is only good when it is hard excersize for one an hour
You would have to do a sport that burns a large amount of energy at a small time because Gatorade contains lots of sugars and salts that substitutes energy, and so they are not recommended to consume over a large amount of time. They give you a huge energy supply that needs to be burnt off otherwise it is harmful to your health.
