That's a good question. Like many products it carries a "Best By" date, which is meaningless. The internet will provide any answer with any amount of time you care to choose. Answers are all over the map, and all are just opinion. I'll throw this out there as the longest time period you are likely to find:

I have a dozen bottles that have been refrigerated since purchase. I just opened one. It looks normal, smells normal, tastes normal, and has the normal amount of carbonation. The bottle is stamped, "Best BY Sept. 21, 02"

Ten and a half years ago.

Understandably I am reluctant to have more than a taste, but haven't decided to toss them yet. Your mileage may vary.
