Do the calories in vodkareally mess up your diet?
Well, they're not that bad actually. A normal 1.5 fluid ounce shot of 80 proof vodka contains around 98 calories. About the same as a 4 fluid ounce glass of white wine.
The problem with vodka is that you usually drink it with a tonic or coke and they pile on the calories. A tonic adds about 80 calories, a coke about 50 calories and a bitter lemon about 80 calories.
If you really want to pile on the calories try a vodka Martini. 3 fluid ounces of vodka and a splash of Martini will rack up 210 calories, including the olive of course.
1 oz of vodka contains 64 calories
Cranberry juice is 40 calories, and the vodka (80 proof) about 65. So a little over a 100.
Vodka is a low-calorie spirit, but it isn't often served straight. Cranberry juice is commonly used as a mixer with vodka. The calories in vodka and cranberry juice will depend greatly on the type of juice you use.VodkaAccording to the website FitDay, there are approximately 64 calories in a 1-oz. serving of vodka. I think it's about 200 calories, a shot of vodka is 70, shot of archers 80 and the amount of cranberry juice about 50 calories. That's how I worked it out anyway!! LOL
