There is no average price. Prices on wine vary greatly.

You can get a Yellowtail magnum for $9.99 at your local liquor store, or a bottle of the latest vintage of Lafite Rothschild for over $1,000.

There is twice the wine in a bottle of Yellowtail.

However, if bought at the right price the Lafite Rothschild is a tremendously better value than the Yellowtail. This is because the Yellowtail will remain at $9.99 forever. The Lafite Rothschild on the other hand will peak within 5 - 10 years. Once the Rothschild peaks the value will most likely go up.

As long as you keep the Rothschild bottle in an ideal temperature from day 1, you would most likely be able to sell that bottle for two or three times more than you purchased it for.

This is because the Rothschild is an exceptional wine made to get better as time goes on. You are guaranteed that Rothschild will produce wine throughout the ages.

The Yellowtail was made to drink at will.
