A Chianti or Sangiovese wine is a good choice to pair with lasagna due to their medium body and acidity that complements the rich tomato sauce and cheese in the dish.
A full-bodied red wine, such as a Chianti or a Sangiovese, pairs best with lasagna.
Usually red wine is best.
A full-bodied red wine, such as a Chianti or a Sangiovese, is typically the best choice to pair with lasagna. The rich flavors of the wine complement the hearty flavors of the dish.
A red wine would ordinarily be enjoyed with lasagna.
Depends on if you want to serve both red and white wine and/or champagne.
A popular choice to pair with lasagna is red wine, such as a Chianti or Sangiovese, as the acidity and tannins complement the rich flavors of the dish. Alternatively, a sparkling water or iced tea can also be refreshing options to balance the heaviness of the lasagna.
Red wine is usually served at room temperature.
There is no reason why you couldn't have Sangria with lasgne but since lasagne is an Italian dish & Sangria is spanish, it might be nice to have an Italian red wine from Montepulciano or Puglia.
Personally I would always serve red wine with Beef Stroganoff, because red meat is the main ingredient.
A nice, dry Italian red. Lasagna is a rich, full flavored dish. Anything less than full bodied will be lost. While many people recommend matching the white cheese with a white wine it seems to me that a red will stand up better to this complex mixture of spices, beef and red tomato sauce. My feelings lead me to a Chianti, a less expensive Italian table wine, a Cabernet Sauvinon, a bit more complex or a rich Bordeaux. Try to stay with the less sweet variants in each wine as they will be more prone to lead to hangover as well as bloating and gastric discomfort.
I would serve a nice, crisp white wine with ham to complement its succulent taste. For example, this Christmas I'm serving a honey baked ham and with it some Vinho Verde (http://www.jmftwinvines.com/about-twin-vines-wine.HTML) which is my absolute favorite type of white wine.
Red wine because Mexican food is very spicy
