Fermentation. the conversion of sugar into alcohol.. glucose (C6H12O6) + zymase(yeast) -> ethanol (2C2H5OH) + carbon diioxide (2CO2)
Metabolism is the main process. However, alcohol also leavers the body through respiration and perspiration.
sorbitol
In biology, a schematic diagram shows the process of translation. This process occurs when a cell converts DNA into mRNA and proteins.
Sorbitol, also known as glucitol, is a sugar alcohol that the body metabolises slowly. It is obtained by reduction of glucose changing the aldehyde group to an additional hydroxyl group hence the name sugar alcohol.
anaerobic respiration
Short answer, no!The term alcohol sugar or sugar alcohol is a marketing gimmick to make something chemical sounding sound a little more consumer-friendly. The name is derived from the fact that part of their chemical structure resembles sugar and part resembles alcohol. There is, however, nothing in common between the alcohol in alcoholic beverages, which is ethanol and sugar alcohols which are typically sorbitol, lactitol, mannitol, xylitol, isomalt, maltitol and hydrogenated starch hydrolysates (HSH).
