Martin, then Gibson. Epiphones and Taylors are nice too
Tyrese Gibson's birth name is Tyrese Darnell Gibson.

Gibson are far better than epiphone because Gibson bought epiphone to basically use them as a cheaper, not as good quality versions of g the Gibson models. Gibson do not only sound better but are much easier to play. although gibsons are very expenssive (sg=£600-1000 les paul=£1000-5000) i would suggest that if you can afford one, then you should buy one as it will improve your playing as well.
Epiphone is very much similar to Gibson, at a cheaper price. Epiphone is owned by Gibson. Gibson makes Epiphone to give guitarists a Gibson feel, at a lower price, without sacrificing quality. Epiphone has some models of its own that Gibson doesn't, and Epiphone makes guitars with the same basic body shape and with some similar technology, hardware and electrical components. I own two Epiphones and a Les Paul, but I dont see any difference in quality between the two brands. I guess it just depends on sound taste. Gibson has a warmer feel to it, while Epiphone has a sharper sound. So basically think of Epiphone as a little brother of Gibson.

The value of a Gibson teapot is as much as someone is willing to pay for it
Fenders normally cost much less than Gibsons and are still quality guitars. Their body shapes are optimised so people can play them easily. However, Stratocasters are so common they're an eyesore for some. Gibsons are also quite varied and have loads of different combinations of pickups, woods, body styles etc. Basically, if you're getting your first guitar, get a Fender or Squier (subsidiary of Fender that make cheaper Fenders), but if you really want Gibson at a lower price, Epiphone (subsidiary of Gibson) make cheaper versions of Gibsons. While some are, admittedly, badly made, some, like their Les Paul Standard, are just as popular as Gibsons and cost thousands of dollars less. Do some research and NEVER BUY STRAIGHT FROM THEIR SITE - local dealers often have them cheaper. But make sure they're in good condition.
