Fenders normally cost much less than Gibsons and are still quality Guitars. Their body shapes are optimised so people can play them easily. However, Stratocasters are so common they're an eyesore for some. Gibsons are also quite varied and have loads of different combinations of pickups, woods, body styles etc. Basically, if you're getting your first guitar, get a Fender or Squier (subsidiary of Fender that make cheaper Fenders), but if you really want Gibson at a lower price, Epiphone (subsidiary of Gibson) make cheaper versions of Gibsons. While some are, admittedly, badly made, some, like their Les Paul Standard, are just as popular as Gibsons and cost thousands of dollars less. Do some research and NEVER BUY STRAIGHT FROM THEIR SITE - local dealers often have them cheaper. But make sure they're in good condition.
A Squier Strat guitar is an electric guitar in the Stratocaster family made by the famous guitar manufacturer 'Fender' - it comes with USB and iOS connectivity.
Gibson les paul if u got the money. fender strat is pretty versatile too.
A Gibson Les Paul, Ibanez, I think a Gibson Es-335, Fender Strat but mostly les pauls.
fender strat
(I currently use a fender strat with a floyd and humbuckers) i need a good metal second guitar with a similar feel to a fender strat
Yes and No. They do have it on the name and likeness and that's about it. That's why there are so many very similar guitars that look almost exactly alike. Look into the Ibanez guitars that Gibson sued over in the 1970s to get a better idea of the precedent.
A fat strat refers to a strat that has a humbucker pickup, which pretty much looks like two single coils smushed together on a guitar
there are many guitars used by green day. the most popular ones are Gibson Les Paul Jr's and the lead singers guitar, blue, which is a Fernandez strat that, over the years, has accumulated objects, ranging from stickers to duct tape...
Well this is personal opinion but for the music i like indie/ indie rock there is on better guitar than an American fender strat :) Yes, it is personal preference, but it depends on what type of music you like Metal/HxC-ESP guitars are a sick choice Classic rock/any music-Gibson Les Paul Rock/Punk-Fender Strat it just depends but I play alot of hxc/screamo/metal and I love my Epiphone Les Paul custom.......
Guitar: his signature 1957/1963 hybrid Strat. An old Gibson P90 in bridge position. Amps: AC30 for raunchy sounds; Fender Bandmaster for clean sounds.=Hope this helps.=
To me its about how they feel and how they sound ! Some bands just play a guitar cause they get payed to . so kids see them playing them and they sell allot of them ! right . marketing . Gibson Fender Ibanez Those are the big ones . I play a Fender strat and its wonderful . and I also Play a Ibanez Jem Steve vai signature and its also a sick looking guitar but you can also throw it downa flight of stares and it will still be in tune . Oh yeah and all those big named guitar makers have other series of guitars but with a diff brand name - Gibson=Epiphone Fender = Squire
fender for sure, i would just get a strat but whatever model you prefer would would work. other than that, a Gibson les paul would be insanely awsome if you could afford it.
