All alcohol is made out of suger one way or another
the suger in beer comes from the starch in Barley ... that converts to maltos
the suger maltos will in fermentation split basically 50/50 in etanol (spirit) and
carbon dioxid .. that's the bubbles when you do your MASH for the moonshine
ethanol is therefor half of the suger .. not meaning carbs though but energy
the carbs in beer comes from the sugerlevel in the beer .. not all suger (maltos) will be fermented .. sooo the carb is from the sweetness in the beer
