Fiji is called a multi-cultural country because it is very multi-cultural! Native Fijians and Indo-Fijians are two main races in the Fiji islands making Fijian and Fiji-Hindi the second language of the country. English is in fact the countrys language. In the Fiji Islands there are a great number of Asians who are from mainland China, South Koreans, Japanese, Taiwanese, Indonesians, Pakistanis. Also there are a great number of Europeans especially from France and the United Kingdom. Other Pacific Islanders tend to call Fiji home. Because Fiji is culturally diversified a mosque, temple and church can be found in every street corner. Intergration in food, clothing, language, holidays and partys bring and share each persons culture in Fiji. Fiji is indeed a great island nation with lots of respect and tolerance to each persons belief and views.
