my experience and common accepted "wisdom" with the 1.8T (mine is 2001 VW) is that normal Temps are 200-250 with 300 being the to high warning particularly with conventional oil and 200 being the low limit for the oil to effectively lubricate and capture dirt/contaminents. Synthetics can survive the higher temps but at that point the engines thermal manaement is not able to keep temps under control. The use of the larger filter on mine coupled with the factory oil cooler I never see higher than 240 and I am highly modded (larger turbo etc)

What is the average temperature of an oil well?

The average temperature of an oil well can vary depending on the location and depth of the well. However, oil wells typically have temperatures ranging from 100 to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.

What is the temperature gradient of oil well?

The temperature gradient of an oil well refers to the change in temperature per unit depth below the surface. It varies depending on factors such as the geothermal gradient of the region and the specific characteristics of the well. Generally, the temperature gradient in oil wells ranges from 0.02 to 0.05°C per meter of depth.

What is the density of garlic oil?

The density of garlic oil is typically around 0.882 grams per milliliter at room temperature. However, this can vary slightly depending on the specific composition and temperature of the oil.

What is high temperature gradient in oil wells?

A high temperature gradient in oil wells refers to a rapid increase in temperature with depth. This can be problematic as it can lead to increased thermal stress on well components and affect the performance of equipment. Operators must consider these temperature changes when designing and maintaining oil wells to prevent damage and ensure safe and efficient operations.
