I think that the safest place during a tornado is somewhere with few windows preferably underground such as a basement or cellar. I have heard of a bathtub being a safe plus due to the cermic material it is made out of. Cover yourself with blankets.
Yes. A bathtub will often provide good protection if you don't have access to underground shelter.
The bath tub provides an extra layer of protection on the sides that could stop potentially deadly debris. Debris is the biggest threat in a tornado.
You have to go in your house or some other sturdy building and go in your basement or a bathtub (if you don't have a basement hide in a tub) or go to some other interior room or halwys. If you can't make it to your shelter don't try to outrun the tornado. Go in a ditch or a hole and cover your head as a last resort.
The best thing for you to do is , to hide you and your kids in a bathroom tub or a basement .With flashlights and batteies!
because unless you have a matress with you to cover yourself, you will die.
The bathroom is generally the other safest place to go during a tornado.
cover yourself up in a tub with a mattress or go to the corner of the basement.

hide in your bathroom! inside your tub will be the best place

first, go to a basement. if you don't have one, get a mattress and put it over a bath tub. put a blanket. and stay away from windows. or go to a public shelter. good luck!
People go in a tub then the tub empties it into the air.
You should be scared of tornadoes! They are very dangerous. Here are some things that you can do when you are afraid. * Find out as much as you can about the thing that scares you. Learn how tornadoes are formed, and where they are usually found. Learn what a tornado looks like and sounds like. Learn how you would know if a tornado was coming. The more you know about a thing, the less scary it is. * Plan ahead. Think about what you should do in case of a tornado. Have a family plan and practice it so that everyone knows exactly what to do and where to go for protection. This is why we have fire drills in school, so that you know what to do and are less likely to panic in an emergency. Learn what parts of your house are the safest in case of a tornado; learn where you can go if you are not in your house. If you know how to find safely, you are less scared.
Well first off you need to know that the tornado is going to hit your best bet is if there is a storm out side and its a pretty strong storm, you need to turn the TV on go to your local weather channel, And if you are in a tornado watch area you need to (if possable) go to your basement or out to your storm cellar. If you dont have niether of those you need to open all the windows in your house, (so you dont get cut or stabed by the glass breaking because of the force of the wind WILL make that happen) then you need to go to your bathroom get your kids in the tub and cover them with all the matresses and pillows you can find. Now if you and your spouce cant fit in the tub and dont want to leave your kids alone, one of you get in between the tub and toilet or if that not possable get ass many blankets, pillows, anything soft and thick to protect you. Lie down flat on the ground and cover up. make sure your able to hold on to the toilet or tub. That way if it is a very strong tornado you wont blow away.
Tornado sirens go off when a tornado warning is issued and during their monthly test.
Yes, wind near a tornado spirals in towards the tornado.
