There are incidents where mining have been considered the trigger of earthquake.
It is not a large problem though.
Where as humans can dig tunnels and cause ground to weaken, even a collapse of big structures cause nothing more than a slight tremble. Not comparable with a big mother nature earthquake.
Such a tremble close to a fault-line can however trigger a larger proper earthquake.
Most likely, this kind of earthquake would have happened at some time sooner or later anyway. The chances are that a triggered earthquake will be less intense than a "normal" one.
Digging out minerals from the earth is called mining. Mining involves extracting valuable minerals or other geological materials from the earth's surface or beneath the surface.
Mining be it for gold, bauxite etc is not good for the Earth since it causes scarring of landscapes destroying God's natural creation eg. when trees and vegetation are removed. Also mining can cause mass movement and underground activities such as plate movement or earthquakes to occur.
The actual burning of the coal contributes more to global warming than the mining itself.
The process of taking minerals from the earth is known as mining. This typically involves extracting minerals from underground or from the surface of the earth through drilling, blasting, and other methods, depending on the type of mineral and location. Mining can have significant environmental impacts if not carried out responsibly.
Coal is typically removed from the earth through surface mining or underground mining. In surface mining, large machines called draglines or shovels remove the coal from the surface of the earth. In underground mining, miners dig tunnels to access the coal seams and extract the coal using machinery.
Sometimes they do.

earth quakes
they are under the earths surface and cause earth Quakes
they rub together and go on top of each other
The shifting in tectonic plates causing pressure making said quakes

pressure is built on a fault line. the pressure is released by the earth's crust shifting and that causes earthquakes.
The bomb itself shook the earth but it did not cause more natural earth quakes.
Convergence of tectonic plates, which can cause earth quakes and tsunamis.
